RI Contractors' Registration and Licensing Board (RI CRLB)

The Rhode Island Contractors' Registration and Licensing Board ("CRLB") is the agency charged with regulating contractors in the State of Rhode and is governed by Rhode Island General Laws § 5-65-1 et seq.

Effective April, 2016, continuing education requirements established by law for residential contractors will take effect during the next registration renewal cycle. This means that all residential contractors including contractors who perform both residential and commercial work, will be required to obtain and provide proof of five (5) hours of continuing education classes prior to the renewal of registration in 2018. It is the principal responsible, applicant who has to take the continuing education classes (not employees).

Certificate of Completion

The Certificate of Completion is a record of attendance reflecting each individual JLC LIVE seminar attended and the continuing education hours received. There is an Online Certificate Retrieval System whereby attendees can go online and view/print their seminar attendance certificates.

Electronic Certificates will be available approximately 7-8 weeks after the show. A notification email is sent to all verified attendees in the education program with instructions for retrieving the certificates. To ensure receipt of this notification be sure to use a unique email address when registering for seminars.
