Updates from the Show

JLC LIVE New England has been rescheduled to August 26-29, 2020.

March 10, 2020 — Over the past few weeks, we have been closely monitoring the situation with regards to Coronavirus (COVID-19) and as part of a managed postponement plan, we have decided to shift this year’s event to August 26-29, exhibits August 28-29.

We understand there will be questions and concerns following this announcement and are working diligently to ensure all details and next steps are finalized and communicated in the coming weeks.

For attendees, we will automatically transfer your registration to the rescheduled event — no action is needed at this time. For questions and concerns, please contact info@JLCLIVE.com. We’re aiming to get back to you within 48 hours but due to a high volume of emails, please expect a slight delay.

For exhibitors and sponsors, we will transfer your program to the future event. We will be reaching out personally within the next few days to discuss your immediate questions.

For hotel reservations, if you booked hotel rooms in our room block, you will receive an email from our housing provider, onPeak, with a link to cancel your current reservation and re-book for August.

Please know this decision was made with you in mind. Health and safety have been our top priority and we feel this decision will provide the best experience for all parties involved.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support as we all navigate this unprecedented situation. We will continue to post updates and communications here as new information becomes available.

JLC LIVE New England sets eyes on Providence: Update regarding novel Coronavirus

March 3, 2020 – The JLC LIVE New England team is continuing to closely monitor the developments of the Novel Coronavirus, COVID-19, through the advice of public health authorities. We wish to reassure our visitors, customers and colleagues their health and safety is always the top priority.

JLC LIVE New England enjoys the support of many regional brands, and to date, we don’t have any exhibitors based in areas restricted for travel from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention. However, as this situation is continuing to evolve, we do have a contingency plan in place.  Our attendees and exhibitors can all be reassured JLC LIVE New England is going ahead as planned. Registrations for the show are tracking significantly ahead year on year, and it’s entirely business as usual for this amazing event.

We continue to follow all safety advice and precautions as recommended by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, as well as the World Health Organization (WHO) in addition to the RI Department of Health, PEMA, and the RI Emergency Management Agency who are monitoring COVID-19.  Attendees are recommended to maintain good hand, respiratory and personal hygiene. We’re working closely with the Rhode Island Convention Center to enhance preventative measures, including additional hand sanitizers, signage advising of the correct methods to wash hands, and wipes available for microphones and podiums. The Rhode Island Department of Health reported it is not seeing widespread community transmission in Rhode Island and the general level of risk for people in Rhode Island is still low.
